To reiterate,
           Esus 2 is just a E with an open d string which you hammer on the 2nd fret(* is the hammer on sign).
           Esus 4 is the same as a E except the d string is played on the 3rd fret.
           Emaj9 comes up later and it's like a E except the middle note is on the a string not d
