Belly, Every Word
A# G# C# D#

To leave
A# G# C# C
More room for me
C Cb
Uh uh oh, you gave me too much room
C Cb
So I filled it up with chairs
C Cb
You can't sit on,
C Cb
But if you want to stand there, stand there
C D C# C
C Cb
Uh uh oh, you told me too much
C Cb
You thought I would leave you
C Cb
C Cb
I heard every word,
C Cb
I heard every word,
C Cb C
I heard every word
A# G# C# D#
A# G# C# D#
So you go,
A# G# C# D# A# G# C# C
And it all goes darker
G# G#/D# G# G#/D# G# G#/D#
These chairs, these eyes, this room
G#/C G#/C#
Closes its windows
G# G#/D# G# G#/D# G# G#/D# C# C
These chairs, these eyes, this room, this heart
[Solo, slower tempo]
C Cb x5

I heard every word,

I heard every word,
C Cb C
I heard every word
I think the G# in the "These chairs..." section is barred at 12th fret, and as I
only have an acoustic guitar I struggled to get it to sound right, so I worked
that bit out on the keyboard but I'm still not convinced. Any suggestions on that
section (or any other!) welcome.
